Work with Me

Growing gardeners: speaking events and garden consultations.

Speaking events: I travel throughout California monthly and appear online to present on a range of topics. Please contact me here if you are interested in learning more about presentations for garden clubs or other events. In addition to my speaker series, I can offer demonstrations, and also companion material for raffle or fundraiser items.

“I would like to thank you for an incredibly informative and engaging presentation. We all appreciate the time and effort you put into preparing your program and your insights have been truly valuable to our audience. The April Program is quite special, as it is part of our annual luncheon/Silent Auction, with an audience of 110+ people. Your presentation was a great success!”

Mini-workshops: In addition to my scheduled workshops, I regularly provide short-form workshops for garden clubs at their chosen location. Past topics have included flower pressing, flower arranging, and cyanotype. Let me know if you have something in mind, or would like ideas on possible events.

“It was such a pleasure to have you address our Garden Club members. It was a lovely presentation and we have heard so many accolades about the event and your inspiring creative guidance. Everyone loved the day and we send our thanks to you for a lovely event!”

Garden consultations: I provide garden consultations for a handful of clients each year. My consultations run the gamut from single visits to answer technical and design questions, or to offer solutions to a problem area. I also provide more in-depth garden design or redesign options, including updating planting for specific areas or seasons that have gaps. Finally, a favorite format is a series of garden meetings to guide owners on the development of their own spaces, where garden and gardener grow together. Whatever your needs, I would love to help you grow!

“I really had fun working together this morning; and thanks for promptly getting back with new plant options and advice. I can’t wait to get my hands dirty again!”
