Join me for morning filled with warmth and creativity as we celebrate the Autumn season with a harvest wreathmaking workshop!
During our time together, you will make your own 24” Autumn wreath using a reusable (or compostable) grapevine form. I’ll have armfuls of fresh, locally sourced greens, and other textured foliage including magnolia, pistachio, and bay branches for crafting your wreath. As we work, I’ll guide you through the process of building your individual wreath, using different techniques and sharing tips and tricks for creating your finished piece.
In addition to seasonal foliage, we’ll have dried bits and bobs, flashes of sparkle, and finishing touches like ribbon and seed heads to create a beautiful, layered look. You will leave class with your beautiful, long-lasting wreath which will age beautifully, and the skills to make more at home.
I will have all the clippers, wire, and foliage you will need, in addition to some sips and bites. If you have anything you would like to use in the wreath, please bring it with you and I will show you how to incorporate it.
Note on timing: if you need to leave early that is totally fine, once you have the technique down you can finish at home!
