Learn to make a gorgeous, sustainable, seasonal wreath using dried flowers and foraged materials with Jill Sowards.
Jill will begin by discussing different ways to dry flowers and plants, tips for foraging material, and how to store your dried bits. Next, Jill will demonstrate different methods of constructing wreaths using a variety of dried plants and flowers. Attendees will have the opportunity to make their own half-moon-style wreath using garden-grown dried flowers. All clippers and materials are provided, students can bring in any additional dried material they would like to include in their wreaths such as dried flowers or grasses. In addition to the wreath made in class, attendees will receive a list of favorite flowers to dry, and how best to process them.
